After several months of withdrawal from the Ghana national team, Kevin-Prince Boateng has officially rejoined the Black Stars. The Ghana Football Federation (GFA) president, Kwesi Nyantakyi, confirmed Boateng’s return, stating that the player expressed his readiness to play again. Boateng, who had been absent from the national team since September 2011, is expected to make his return in a match against Zambia in September, a crucial game for World Cup qualifying. His decision to rejoin the team follows the recent return of André and Jordan Ayew, who had withdrawn from the national team but agreed to represent Ghana again after a meeting with President John Mahama. The Black Stars face Lesotho in a vital World Cup qualifying match on the fifth day of the qualifiers.
