Gessime Yassine transfer: Olympiacos weigh move for in-form Strasbourg winger

Gessime Yassine, the Moroccan-French winger at R. Strasbourg, has been linked with a move to Greek club Olympiacos.

The 20-year-old right winger has started the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season strongly, appearing in both of Strasbourg’s matches and scoring twice. Yassine has been involved in 100% of his side’s league goals during those games, while completing every available minute.

Yassine joined Strasbourg from USL Dunkerque in January 2026 in a transfer worth €7m. He has since established himself as a first-team option and is valued at €12m.

The left-footed attacker remains under contract with Strasbourg until 30 June 2030, meaning any move to Olympiacos would require an agreement between the clubs rather than a free transfer.

Yassine was part of Morocco’s Under-20 side that won the 2025 Under-20 World Cup, scoring twice during the tournament. He has also made three appearances at the 2026 World Cup, although he has played only a limited number of minutes.

The rumour would represent a move from Ligue 1 to Greece’s Super League 1, with Olympiacos the club currently associated with a possible transfer. No fee or probability has been established, while Yassine remains a Strasbourg player under a long-term contract.
