German Bundesliga side, FC Augsburg, have announced the signing of France-born forward of Cameroonian descent Kyliane Dong.
The club confirmed the acquisition of the youngster on Wednesday, April 24.
In the club’s official statement, it said the forward has signed a five-year contract.
“FC Augsburg has secured its first new signing for the upcoming season: Kyliane Dong joins FCA on a free transfer from French second division club ES Troyes AC. The 20-year-old winger signs a long-term contract until 2030,” the German Bundesliga side said.
Kyliane Dong was born in Évry-Courcouronnes, south of Paris. The youngster holds dual French and Cameroonian citizenship.
He came through the Troyes youth system and has already made 57 appearances for the club’s senior team, including six Ligue 1 appearances.
He made his professional debut at just 17 years old against Montpellier HSC.
The highly-rated youngster is better known for his versatility in attacking positions. He is capable of playing in all wing positions.
Although he has also made three appearances for the French U20 national team, he remains eligible to play for the Cameroon national team.
