German attacker of Senegalese descent Leroy Sane is likely to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the 2024/25 football season despite ongoing contract extension talks.
This is because the former Manchester City forward is not willing to agree to the current terms presented in the contract extension offer.
Since January, Leroy Sane’s future at Bayern Munich has been in doubt.
However, last month, the club reportedly made a breakthrough and agreed on a deal with the player and his representative.
In a U-turn that stunned Bayern Munich officials, Leroy Sane ditched his agent and went in for Pini Zahavi as his new agent.
His new agent, Pini Zahavi, submitted a revised proposal on his behalf, requesting a €12 million base salary with an additional €3 million in bonuses largely tied to appearances.
This counteroffer comes in response to Bayern’s earlier proposal, which has a base salary of €10 million.
Amid the impasse, sources have reported that Leroy Sane has no intention of signing an extension with Bayern Munich.
If this does not change, the forward will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
