Germany-born defender of Senegalese descent, Malick Thiaw, is reportedly on his way out of AC Milan.
Sources have revealed that the Italian Serie A club wants to offload the versatile defender in the summer transfer window.
Further checks have brought to light that German giants, Bayern Munich, and Bayer Leverkusen are both interested in signing the youngster.
Although Malick Thiaw has featured regularly for Milan, he has never firmly established himself as a mainstay in the club’s defensive lineup. The Rossoneri currently rotate between Thiaw, Matteo Gabbia, Jan-Carlo Simic, and Fikayo Tomori, with no clear pecking order in place.
His departure could help the club generate funds to bolster other areas of the squad ahead of the new campaign.
AC Milan’s initial valuation for the defender ranges between €20 and €25 million, but the club is reportedly hopeful of pushing the figure beyond €30 million as interest intensifies from Germany.
It is now up to Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen to match the demands of AC Milan if they want to sign Thiaw.
