German defender of Ivorian descent, Jonathan Tah, is yet to say yes to his transfer to Bayern Munich.
Tah, 29, is leaving Bayer Leverkusen this summer following the expiration of his contract with last season’s Bundesliga champions.
Bayern Munich, after winning this season’s Bundesliga title, have decided to augment their squad for next season.
As part of efforts to bring in top players, the Bavarians are in talks to sign Jonathan Tah as a free agent.
Tah has been presented with an initial three-year contract but will have the chance to extend for an additional year.
In the contract, Jonathan Tah will receive an annual salary of around €12 million.
Despite the agreement between Bayern Munich officials and the representatives of Tah, a move to FC Barcelona is reportedly still on the table.
Tah has not signed the offered contract and could opt to move to Bayern Munich instead if the La Liga champions can convince him to ditch the German giants.
