German defender of Ivorian descent Jonathan Tah has agreed on a move to Bayern Munich at the end of the 2024/25 football season.
The highly-rated centre-back has already confirmed his decision to end his stay at Bayer Leverkusen when his contract expires in the summer.
He believes that after spending years at the club, it is time to pursue a different challenge.
With his exit imminent, several clubs have been linked with a move to sign the defender.
Among the clubs include Bayern Munich who are looking for a new defensive leader for the 2025/26 football season.
Despite being favourites to sign Jonathan Tah, Bayern face strong competition from English Premier League outfit Manchester United.
Thankfully for Bayern Munich, the experienced centre-back wants to stay in Germany. He has now agreed to sign for the Bavarians at the end of the season.
Sources have disclosed that the Bayern Munich advisory board has also sanctioned the deal.
As a result, the two parties are set to progress with talks. A deal should be signed in the coming weeks.
