German outfit RB Leipzig have slapped €60 million price tag on Belgian-Moroccan forward Loïs Openda heading into the summer transfer window.
Leipzig were inconsistent in the recently concluded campaign, missing out on European football next season after placing 7th at the end of the Bundesliga season.
The club now risk losing top stars in the team, with Openda, one of the most sought-after players no exception. However, the Red Bulls are not ready to back down without a fight.
Leipzig will be ready to release the player to any club should they meet the €60 million price tag on attacker. Meanwhile, Leipzig is in no rush to sell the Belgian striker.
Currently, there are no concrete suitors for Openda, unlike Benjamin Šeško and Xavi Simons, who could leave the Red Bull Arena as soon as this summer.
Openda joined RB Leipzig from Lens in the summer of 2023. Since then, he has scored 41 goals and provided 18 assists, including 13 goals and 11 assists in the recently concluded season, featuring in all 90 matches for the German club.
