German-Cameroonian forward Jessic Ngankam set for Frankfurt departure in January

Germany-born forward of Cameroonian descent, Jessic Ngankam, is set to leave Eintracht Frankfurt in the January transfer window.

The Bundesliga club is actively working on a temporary move for the 25-year-old as they look to secure him more consistent playing time.

Reports from Sky indicate that discussions between the two parties are ongoing, with Frankfurt clearly leaning towards a loan arrangement rather than a permanent transfer.

While several clubs have shown interest, the preferred option is a short-term deal that offers Ngankam improved sporting prospects without affecting his long-term commitment to Frankfurt.

The forward, whose contract runs until 2028, is not being considered for a sale at this stage. Instead, Frankfurt are focused on identifying a destination that guarantees regular minutes and provides the right environment for his development.

At the moment, no deal has yet been agreed upon, and negotiations remain in progress, but all signs point to Ngankam securing a move away in January as Frankfurt looks to balance his growth with their plans.
