Genoa consider move for Torino’s Morocco-Netherlands winger Zakaria Aboukhlal
Zakaria Aboukhlal, the Morocco-Netherlands winger at Torino, has been linked with a move to fellow Serie A club Genoa.
The 26-year-old joined Torino from Toulouse on 29 July 2025 in a deal worth €7.5m and remains under contract until 30 June 2029. His current market value is listed at €6m.
Aboukhlal has made three appearances for Torino this season, featuring twice in Serie A and once in the Italian Cup. He has not started a match and has yet to register a goal or assist, with 26 minutes played in the league and 22 in the cup.
The right winger’s possible move would keep him in Serie A, where Genoa are exploring a deal for a player who has so far had a limited role at Torino. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported, and the rumour does not indicate that negotiations have reached an advanced stage.
Aboukhlal, born in Rotterdam, began his senior career with AZ Alkmaar before moving to Toulouse in 2022. He won the French Cup with Toulouse in the 2022-23 season, then moved to Italy two years later.
Torino’s current contract with Aboukhlal gives the club control of his future beyond this season, while Genoa’s reported interest remains at the rumour stage.
