Zamalek’s first football team players are set to receive substantial rewards if they emerge victorious in the Egypt Cup final against Al Ahly, scheduled for Friday, March 8th, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to “Al Masry Al Youm,” some business figures with an affinity for Zamalek have pledged significant bonuses in the event of clinching the championship.
This is in addition to the $950,000 prize money already set for the winning team in the Egypt Cup final, provided by the Riyadh Season.
The current edition of the Egypt Cup boasts unprecedented rewards, thanks to the Riyadh Season Council organizing the final match between Al Ahly and Zamalek.
The rewards allocated for both the winner and the runner-up in the final match mark the highest in the history of the Egypt Cup since its inception in 1921.
This year’s Egypt Cup final will be held outside the country for the first time, taking place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia between Al Ahly and Zamalek.
