Nottingham Forest Academy have completed the signing of Gambian forward Lamin Sillah on a contract that runs through the summer of 2028.
The 19-year-old joins from Olympiacos and will feature for Warren Joyce’s B Team during the 2025/26 season.
Sillah, a Gambia U-20 international, had previously trained with Forest and several other English clubs during the 2024 off-season.
At the time, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that Leicester City were also monitoring the promising attacker, noting growing interest from other Premier League sides.
He is jointly represented by former England youth international Cherno Samba and German agent Sascha Empacher.
Forest’s Head of Football Development & Talent Management, Craig Mulholland, welcomed the addition, describing Sillah as a player with significant potential.
“Lamin is someone who has high potential, and we’re delighted to have added a goalscoring attacker to Warren’s young, exciting squad,” he said. “He arrives here hungry to improve.”
Mulholland also emphasized the importance of blending local academy products with international talent, underlining the club’s strategy of building a balanced and competitive development team.
As Forest gear up for a series of pre-season fixtures against Monaco, Estoril, Birmingham City, Fiorentina, and Al Qadsiah, it remains to be seen whether first-team boss Nuno Espírito Santo will give Sillah a runout with the senior squad.
