Gambia midfielder Modou Manneh joins Isenmulang FC on a free transfer

Gambia midfielder Modou Manneh has joined Indonesian Super League club Isenmulang FC from Manila Digger on a free transfer, completing a move that takes the 25-year-old to Indonesia after a standout season in the Philippines.

Manneh, a central midfielder who prefers his left foot, arrives at Isenmulang after helping Manila Digger win the Philippine championship during the 2025-26 campaign. He was also named Player of the Tournament for the season, underlining his importance to the club’s title-winning campaign.

The Georgetown-born player made a significant attacking contribution from midfield, recording 19 goals and 16 assists in 35 PFL appearances. He also supplied three assists in seven AFC Challenge League matches and added another assist in two PFL Final Series appearances. His continental campaign included a further appearance in AFC Champions League Two qualifying.

Manneh’s move to Isenmulang was completed on 16 August 2026. The transfer is his second free move since leaving Real de Banjul, having joined Manila Digger in September 2024 without a transfer fee.

His arrival gives Isenmulang a midfielder with recent experience of domestic success and continental competition. Manneh’s output for Manila Digger was particularly notable for the balance between goals and assists, with 35 direct goal contributions in the PFL.

The transfer also represents a move between two different football environments, with Manneh leaving the Philippines Football League to join Indonesia’s top flight. Isenmulang FC will be his third senior club in the recorded career after Real de Banjul and Manila Digger.

Manneh’s market value is listed at €225,000, while no transfer fee was paid for his move to Isenmulang. His new club completed the signing on 16 August, bringing the transfer into effect at the start of the 2026-27 season.

The Gambian midfielder has therefore moved on after a title-winning season in which he collected both team and individual honours. Modou Manneh is now an Isenmulang FC player following his free transfer from Manila Digger.
