Galatasaray monitor Yasin Ayari as Brighton contract enters final year

Brighton midfielder Yasin Ayari, the Swedish-Tunisian 22-year-old, has been linked with a move to Galatasaray in Turkey’s Super Lig.

The reported likelihood of a transfer is 46%, while Ayari’s current market value is listed at €40m. No transfer fee has been reported, and the rumour does not indicate that an agreement has been reached between the clubs.

Ayari has made three appearances for Brighton this season, featuring once in the Premier League and twice in Conference League qualifying. He has started both of Brighton’s European matches but has not scored or assisted in those outings.

The central midfielder joined Brighton from Swedish club AIK in January 2023 for €4m. He subsequently spent part of the 2023-24 season on loan, first at Coventry before moving to Blackburn, but returned to Brighton at the end of that campaign.

Ayari’s contract with Brighton runs until 30 June 2027, meaning the club are not currently facing an immediate expiry deadline. His valuation is also significantly higher than when he joined the Premier League side.

He played all four of Sweden’s matches at the 2026 World Cup, starting each game and scoring twice. However, the Galatasaray link remains a reported possibility rather than a completed transfer, with Ayari still registered as a Brighton player.
