A devoted Galatasaray supporter has arrived in Kigali to show support for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen ahead of his national team’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Rwanda.

Nigeria will take on Rwanda at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali on Friday, with Osimhen expected to lead the Super Eagles’ attacking line in the must-win encounter.

“I am a Galatasaray fan, and we love Osimhen. I hope I can take a photo with him and have him sign my jersey,” the supporter said, expressing excitement about the opportunity to see the forward in action.

Osimhen, 26, moved to Turkish giants Galatasaray on loan from Serie A club Napoli last September.

The Nigerian international has been in outstanding form, netting 26 goals and providing five assists in 30 appearances for the Istanbul-based club this season.

His presence in the Super Eagles squad is seen as a major boost for Nigeria as they look to strengthen their position in the World Cup qualification campaign.

The highly anticipated match is scheduled to kick off at 5 p.m. Nigerian time.
