Galatasaray coach shows confidence in Ziyech

Galatasaray football club’s coach, Okan Buruk, has expressed admiration for the performance of Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech in the recent match against Alanyaspor, in the thirty-second round of the Turkish league, according to reports from the Turkish version of CNN.

The same source indicated that Ziyech, nicknamed the “Atlas Lion,” is likely to play more regularly in the remaining matches of the Turkish league, as Buruk intends to give him the opportunity to prove himself further with Galatasaray.

Ziyech entered the match as a substitute in the forty-sixth minute, injecting dynamism into Galatasaray’s midfield and attack.

He scored the second goal with a shot from outside the penalty area in the sixty-first minute, contributing to his team’s 4-0 victory.

Ziyech’s performance in the recent match is likely to prompt Galatasaray’s management to reconsider his future and the possibility of activating the buyout clause in his contract from Chelsea.

Previously, the club had considered him for departure.

Ziyech received a rating of 8.1, his third-best score in the match, according to the specialized platform “Sofascore,” which evaluates players’ performances and statistics.

Hakim Ziyech aims to utilize the remaining matches with Galatasaray to showcase his usual level of performance and persuade the Turkish club’s officials to discuss activating the buyout clause in his contract from Chelsea. It’s worth noting that Turkish media reports have indicated offers for the player from Saudi clubs.
