Turkish Super Lig side, Galatasaray, have officially contacted Bayern Munich with an offer to re-sign France-born defender of Cameroonian descent, Sacha Boey.
Bayern Munich signed the defender from Galatasaray in January 2024 for a fee of €30 million.
Despite being signed with a lot of expectations, Sacha Boey has not been able to impress.
Unfortunately, for him, injuries have also meant that he has not had it easy cementing a place in the starting eleven of the German Bundesliga club.
Since his January 2024 move, he has only made 18 appearances in all competitions for the German giants.
As already reported by Africasoccer, Bayern Munich are open to selling Sacha Boey in the summer transfer window.
Today, sources have disclosed that Galatasaray have made an initial official offer to FC Bayern Munich for Sacha Boey.
It is, however, unclear what the details of the first bid are.
It is understood that while Galatasaray want to re-sign Boey in a permanent deal, the club is also ready to explore the possibility of signing him on loan with an option to buy after a year.
