The Gabonese women’s football championship, Ligue 1 Féminine, is poised to resume action on March 30, 2024, almost a year after the conclusion of the 2022-2023 season. As a prelude to this eagerly awaited restart, the national women’s football league (Linafem) has officially released the match schedule for the upcoming season, offering fans a glimpse of the exciting clashes on the horizon.

Vautour Club is set to take the spotlight on the first day as they initiate proceedings by hosting Ao Cms on the Monedan stadium’s turf. Simultaneously, in Pool A, Bouenguidi Sports will engage in a fierce battle against Aso SM at the Tata Migolet stadium.

Adding to the day’s intensity, a match from the lower division will unfold as Lambaréné Ac faces As Mangasport on the Jean Koumou stadium’s green pitch. All three matches, commencing at 3:30 p.m. local time, promise a riveting start to the new season.

The Gabonese women’s D1 championship has consistently featured 12 teams organized into two zones of six teams each.

Noteworthy is the championship’s unique distinction of being fully financed by the Gabonese State, a commitment facilitated through the Ministry of Youth and Sports, underscoring the government’s support for women’s football development.

Full Schedule for the Opening Day:
