The Future team delegation arrived in Cairo this Tuesday morning from South Africa after an extended journey lasting over 17 hours.
The Future team is set to resume their training this Tuesday evening in preparation for their upcoming match against Smouha in the league after tomorrow, Thursday, as part of the 14th week of the local competition at Alexandria Stadium.
They will then face off against Al-Hilal of Libya next Sunday at the Cairo International Stadium in the final round of group stage matches in the African Confederation Cup, aiming to secure qualification for the next stage.
The Future team currently holds the second position in Group A with 8 points. Group A also includes Algerian club Entente Sportive de Setif leading the group with 10 points and Al-Hilal of Libya in third place with 6 points, while South African team SuperSport United is at the bottom of the group with 4 points.
The Future team played a draw against SuperSport United last Sunday with each team scoring one goal at Peter Mokaba Stadium in the penultimate round of group stage matches in the African Confederation Cup.
