Fulham Football Club is reportedly setting its sights on securing the services of Franco-Algerian talent, Ryan Cherki, during the upcoming summer transfer window.
According to reports disclosed by the British newspaper “The Sun” in an article published on Monday, Fulham had expressed interest in acquiring Cherki back in January of last year, tabling a record-breaking offer of £35 million, a sum that stood as the club’s highest-ever pursuit.
The publication details that the success of this potential transfer might be in jeopardy due to Fulham’s somewhat belated interest, raising the likelihood of the deal being postponed to the upcoming summer transfer window.
It is worth noting that Ryan Cherki is a product of Olympique Lyonnais’s youth academy, having joined the club in 2010.
During his time with “Les Gones,” he participated in 123 matches, contributing 15 goals to the team’s tally.
Additionally, Cherki is eligible to represent national teams such as France, Algeria, and Italy, showcasing his diverse footballing background.
