Ghana’s Black Stars coach, Kwesi Appiah, has announced the list of players called up for the friendly match against Turkey on August 14. The coach has introduced three new players to the squad: goalkeeper Razak Braimah (Guadalajara/ESP), midfielder Yusif Chibsah (Parma/ITA), and striker Emmanuel Banahene (Sanliurfaspor/TUR).
The 21-player list includes the return of goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey (Stromgodset/NOR) and defender Daniel Opare (Standard Liège/BEL). Notably absent are the Ayew brothers, while Sulley Muntari, who had a humorous gesture in June, is also not included. Michael Essien and Kevin-Prince Boateng are also missing from the squad.
