Kenya has secured an agreement with Libya for a friendly football match scheduled for February 2013. The announcement comes as Kenya seeks to prepare for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers set to begin in March. The Harambee Stars will face Libya in Tripoli, marking the fifth encounter between the two teams. Despite three previous victories for Libya and one for Kenya, the friendly aims to offer valuable preparation for both teams.
In addition, Kenya is actively seeking a sparring partner for November 14 to further strengthen its preparations. Requests for a friendly match have been extended to Rwanda, South Sudan, Ethiopia, and Tanzania, but as of now, no responses have been received.
