Paul Pogba, the 19-year-old midfielder from Juventus, expressed his delight at being called up to the French national team for the first time. Speaking on “Luis Attaque” on RMC, Pogba sees this selection as a significant achievement but emphasizes that it is just the beginning of his journey.
While pleased with the call-up, the Franco-Guinean midfielder views it as a crucial step in his career. Reflecting on his earlier aspirations, he stated, “When I was in Le Havre and I was selected for the first time with the under-16s, my goal was to go to the A team. Now that I am selected, I am happy. It’s an honor to be able to wear the A team jersey. This is the first step. The hardest part is yet to come. You have to continue to work hard. I haven’t arrived yet. I have to work hard to progress and one day be at the top.”
