French midfielder of Ivorian descent, Kader Bamba has completed his move to Clermont Foot 63.
The French outfit confirmed the acquisition of the player in a statement on Monday, January 20.
“Clermont Foot 63 is proud to announce the arrival of Kader Bamba in its ranks. The 30-year-old winger, without a club since the end of his contract with FC Nantes last summer, has signed with the Rouge & Bleu until June 2026. Trained at Toulouse FC, Kader Bamba had to wait a few years and return to the amateur world before signing his first professional contract with FC Nantes in 2019. He then discovered the joys of Ligue 1, playing 56 matches in 2 seasons, before being loaned to Amiens SC in 21,” Kader Bamba said.
Speaking after completing the move, Bamba shared his delight and expressed his desire to do his best for Clermont Foot.
“I am very happy to sign for Clermont Foot, it’s nice to be back on the pitch. I hope to bring my freshness to the team, my experience and my dribbling skills. I am happy to be reunited with Laurent Batlles, he is a coach that I like and with whom I had a good feeling when we were both at Saint-Étienne,” Bamba stated as quoted on the website of Clermont Foot.
