France-born midfielder of Senegalese descent, Andy Diouf, is reportedly open to a move to English Premier League club Crystal Palace this summer.
This is even though the midfielder has agreed to a transfer to fellow Premier League side Burnley.
Diouf remains a long-standing target for Crystal Palace.
Despite Burnley securing an €18 million agreement with Lens for his services, Diouf is said to prefer a switch to the London-based club over the newly promoted Clarets.
While Burnley have taken concrete steps by sealing a deal with Lens, Crystal Palace are yet to reach an agreement with either the club or the player.
Nevertheless, reports from L’Équipe suggest that Selhurst Park is Diouf’s top choice.
What appears certain at this stage is that Diouf is Premier League-bound this summer.
Burnley must convince the midfielder to go through with his move, or he may choose Crystal Palace if the club makes a little push in the coming days.
