OGC Nice have reached an agreement to sign Senegalese goalkeeper Yehvann Diouf in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The French Ligue 1 outfit are bolstering their squad for the upcoming 2025/26 football campaign, and Diouf, who plies his trade for Stade Reims has emerged as a priority target.
The 25-year-old shot stopper made 34 appearances, conceding 47 goals and keeping 7 clean sheets in the Ligue 1. He has become a subject of interest for several clubs including fellow French outfit RC Lens and Serie A club Torino.
However, Nice have wrapped up the signing of Diouf, who was one of the best-performing goalkeepers in Ligue 1 last season, despite Reims’ relegation.
Nice fended off competitions from Ligue 1 rivals RC Lens and Serie A side Torino to secure the services of Diouf.
The 25-year-old Reims captain was under contract with the Champagne side until 2027, but he was not expected to pursue his career in the second-tier.
The Senegal international will replace Marcin Bulka between the sticks at Allianz Riviera. The Poland international will leave Les Aiglons amid interest from Sunderland and Neom. Bulka has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with the Saudi Pro League side.
