French-Nigerian star Michael Olise not for sale, says Bayern chief Max Eberl
Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has made it clear that French-Nigerian winger Michael Olise will not be leaving the club anytime soon.
The 23-year-old, who has Nigerian and French roots, has been one of Bayern’s most impressive performers since joining from Crystal Palace in 2024.
His growing influence in the Bundesliga has sparked interest from top European clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain.
However, Eberl insists Bayern have no intention of parting ways with their prized asset. Speaking to 11Freunde, the German executive confirmed that Olise’s contract contains no release clause and runs until June 2029.
“The contract runs until June 2029, contains no exit clause, and Olise is on his way to becoming one of the best players in the world,” Eberl said.
Olise has quickly become a key figure under Bayern’s attacking setup, earning praise for his flair, creativity, and clinical finishing.
His ability to change games has made him one of Europe’s most exciting wingers.
Liverpool, in particular, are believed to view him as a long-term successor to Mohamed Salah, but Bayern’s firm stance suggests that any potential move will have to wait.
Since his £50 million transfer from Crystal Palace, Olise has adapted seamlessly to life in Germany, contributing goals and assists in both domestic and European competitions.
His performances have elevated his reputation, making him one of the most sought-after young attackers in world football.
Despite persistent transfer speculation, Bayern remain determined to keep the French-Nigerian star at the Allianz Arena, with reports suggesting the club may even seek to extend his current deal to underline their commitment to his long-term future.
