French-Ghanaian winger Godson Kyeremeh makes Red Star move

French-Ghanaian winger Godson Kyeremeh has joined Red Star FC from Le Havre AC, bringing the 26-year-old right winger to the Ligue 2 club after a season in France’s top flight.

Kyeremeh’s move was completed on 1 September 2026. He leaves Le Havre, who compete in Ligue 1, for Red Star, who play in Ligue 2. No transfer fee has been disclosed for the switch, and no contract length has been announced.

The forward had not made an appearance for Le Havre during the opening two possible Ligue 1 matches of the 2026-27 campaign before changing clubs. He now joins Red Star after just over a year with Le Havre, having arrived there from SM Caen in July 2025 on a free transfer.

Kyeremeh spent much of his early development at Caen, progressing from the club’s under-17 side to the under-19s before moving into the senior structure. He joined Caen’s first team from the club’s reserve side in January 2021, then spent part of the 2020-21 season on loan at FC Annecy.

That loan spell ended with Kyeremeh returning to Caen in June 2022. His subsequent free transfer to Le Havre in 2025 preceded his latest move across France, with Red Star becoming the sixth club of his senior career when his time at Annecy is included.

Born in Melun, France, Kyeremeh holds French and Ghanaian nationality. He is listed as a right winger and prefers to use his right foot. At 1.77 metres, he arrives at Red Star as an established wide player with experience across France’s professional system.

The move also represents a change of division for Kyeremeh, from the Ligue 1 environment at Le Havre to Red Star’s Ligue 2 campaign. His arrival was completed at the start of September, with the club adding him to their squad for the remainder of the season.

Kyeremeh has therefore completed his transfer from Le Havre AC to Red Star FC.
