France international Randal Kolo Muani has confirmed he will remain with Juventus for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, ending speculation over his immediate future.
Born to Congolese parents, Kolo Muani joined the Italian giants on loan from Paris Saint-Germain during the January transfer window.
The arrangement, originally intended to cover the second half of the 2024/25 campaign, has now been extended to include Juventus’ participation in the Club World Cup.
Speaking to L’Équipe following France’s 2-0 win over Germany in the Nations League third-place match, the 26-year-old forward expressed his satisfaction with life in Turin.
“I’m very happy to have been able to play a little bit more, both with the national team and with my club,” Kolo Muani said.
“I’m very happy at Juventus, I hope to continue there, they welcomed me and I’m enjoying it. I’m setting off with them for the Club World Cup.”
Kolo Muani has been a key figure for Juventus since his arrival, offering dynamism and versatility in attack during a campaign that saw the Bianconeri finish second in Serie A.
His performances have not gone unnoticed, with club executives reportedly keen to discuss a permanent deal with PSG after the international tournament.
The Club World Cup, scheduled to kick off later this month, will see Juventus represent Europe alongside other continental champions in the revamped 32-team format. Kolo Muani is expected to play a central role in their efforts.
His decision to stay puts an end to brief uncertainty regarding his involvement, particularly with PSG monitoring his status following a mixed debut season in Ligue 1 after his high-profile transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt.
