French clubs Olympique de Marseille and Lille are battling to sign Morocco forward Hamza Ijman.
The young and promising forward has become a top target for other clubs due to his impressive performance for the Scottish side, Rangers.
According to reports, Lille is looking for a new striker to replace Canadian Jonathan David, who is preparing to leave the team this summer, while Chuba Akpom will return to his club, Ajax Amsterdam, after the end of his loan.
The report adds that Lille has agreed with the Moroccan striker on a three-year contract and is preparing to submit an official offer to his Scottish club.
Despite the interest, Lille will face tough competition for the deal from Olympique de Marseille, who have also expressed interest in signing the player.
However, it is not yet clear whether Marseille has contacted Egman or Rangers, but the team’s coach, Roberto De Zerbi, wants to sign a new striker to replace Luis Henrique, who has moved to Inter Milan.
