French Ligue 1 outfit Racing Strasbourg has announced the signing of France-born defender of Malian descent, Soumaila Coulibaly.
The club confirmed the acquisition of the defender from German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund on Monday, July 7.
“Racing is happy to announce we have signed defender Soumaila Coulibaly from Dortmund,” Racing Strasbourg announced in an official post on X.

Dortmund in a post to confirm the transfer of the defender wished him well in the next chapter of his career.
“Soumaila Coulibaly will leave Borussia Dortmund and join Racing Strasbourg Alsace in France’s top flight. Best of luck on your new chapter, Soumaila,” the German Bundesliga said in a post on X.

Soumaila Coulibaly, 21, will be expected to play a key role for Strasbourg in the 2025/26 football season and beyond.
