French-Cameroonian star Kylian Mbappé inspires Real Madrid to decisive win over Athletic Club

French-Cameroonian forward Kylian Mbappé delivered a commanding performance as Real Madrid swept past Athletic Club with a 3-0 victory in LaLiga, contributing to every goal in a one-sided contest at San Mamés.

Unai Simón was an early barrier for the visitors, twice denying Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior after hesitant defending from the hosts.

Real Madrid suffered a setback when Alexander-Arnold left the pitch injured, followed later by Camavinga after a heavy challenge.

Tensions rose following a clash involving Mbappé and Adama Boiro, yet the forward responded in emphatic fashion, driving a long-range strike past Simón for Madrid’s third.

Guruzeta pushed for a late reply but lacked precision, allowing Real to close out a comprehensive win that ends their sequence of three league draws.

The result keeps Los Blancos one point behind leaders Barcelona and hands Athletic Club their fourth defeat in six league outings, dropping them to eighth place.
