French-Cameroonian prodigy Rayane Tanfouri on the radar of German giants Bayern Munich and Dortmund

A summer transfer tussle may be on the horizon as Bundesliga giants FC Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund reportedly track the promising French-Cameroonian attacker Rayane Messi Tanfouri.

While his surname naturally draws comparisons to Lionel Messi, the 18-year-old striker is carving out his own reputation as one of France’s most exciting emerging talents.

Messi first came onto Bayern’s radar in 2024 when he was under contract with Dijon FCO. He has since moved to RC Strasbourg and is currently gaining valuable experience on loan at Neom SC in Saudi Arabia.
