France forward of Cameroonian descent Kylian Mbappe has been named in the Real Madrid squad for their Cope del Rey final against FC Barcelona this weekend.

The forward is back in the squad after recovering from a minor sprain injury on his ankle, which saw him miss the team’s training early this week.

Mbappe, who is among the attackers named in the Real Madrid squad for the final, has travelled with the team to Sevilla, where the game will be played.

The recovery of Kylian Mbappe is a major squad boost for Carlo Ancelotti’s side, who will be aiming to clinch the trophy by seeing off their rivals.

In addition to Mbappe, Ferland Mendy has also returned from injury after more than a month out and is expected to start at left back.

Unfortunately, Real Madrid will be without Eduardo Camavinga for the Copa del Rey final against FC Barcelona this weekend.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 8 pm on Saturday, April 26.
