France forward of Cameroonian descent, Hugo Ekitiké, has yet to agree to the proposed move to Chelsea.

Ekitike last season scored 22 goals in 48 appearances and established himself as one of the lethal youngsters in Europe.

After his stellar performances for Eintracht Frankfurt, the youngster has become a transfer target of several clubs in Europe, including Chelsea.

The Blues have already started preparations to strengthen their squad for the 2025/26 football season.

Although the club could not compete for the English Premier League title in the 2024/25 season, they managed to win the Europa Conference League trophy.

Keen on challenging for the EPL next season, the club wants to bolster their attack.

Already, Chelsea have reached a deal to sign English striker Liam Delap. The club is now in talks to also sign Hugo Ekitike.

Despite the player’s readiness to leave Frankfurt this summer, reports indicate that he is not in a rush and is taking his time to decide whether to accept a move to Chelsea or not.

Meanwhile, Eintracht Frankfurt are demanding a transfer fee of €100 million to sanction a sale this summer.
