France-born Cameroonian forward Hugo Ekitike could depart Eintracht Frankfurt at the end of the season.
The 22-year-old has become a transfer target for several top clubs in Europe due to his outstanding performance for Frankfurt this season.
Ekitike has rediscovered his form at Frankfurt following a difficult spell with Paris Saint Germain. He joined the Bundesliga club, initially on loan before making the move permanent last summer for just over €16m.
In his first full season, the French-Cameroonian striker has excelled, scoring 18 goals in 34 appearances across competitions.
However, Frankfurt are said to be ready to cash in on the enterprising Cameroonian forward, who have garnered interest from clubs.
Ekitike is likely to leave this summer, just one year after making his move to Frankfurt permanent.
However, should he leave, he certainly will not do so on the cheap. The Frenchman is valued at €80m. The Bundesliga side are looking to garner a fee north of that figure. The former Stade de Reims forward’s contract runs until 2029.
