Freiburg track Karlsruher SC’s Tunisian-German attacker Louey Ben Farhat
Tunisian-German attacker Louey Ben Farhat is being linked with a move from Karlsruher SC to Freiburg, with the Bundesliga club reportedly monitoring the 20-year-old second striker.
Ben Farhat has made two appearances in the 2. Bundesliga this season, providing one assist, while also featuring once in the DFB-Pokal. He has started 33% of Karlsruher’s league matches and played 22% of their available minutes.
The potential move would see Ben Farhat step up from Germany’s second tier to the Bundesliga. The rumour currently carries a 53% probability, while the player’s market value is listed at €10m.
Born in Waiblingen, Ben Farhat holds Tunisian and German nationality. He joined Karlsruher’s senior team from their under-19 side in January 2025 after progressing through the club’s academy system.
Ben Farhat’s current contract with Karlsruher SC runs until 30 June 2029, meaning the club would not be under immediate pressure to sell if Freiburg pursue the reported interest.
