France international of Senegalese descent Boubacar Kamara is currently weighing his options after being offered a new deal at Aston Villa.
The Premier League outfit are desperate to tie down the 25-year-old, offering him a long-term contract to continue his trade in England.
Despite having two-year left on his contract, Aston Villa intends to keep the enterprising midfielder beyond 2027.
According to reports, Kamara is still pondering whether to extend his stay at Villa Park or depart following interest from several clubs.
The former Marseille midfielder is subject to the interest of several clubs, and officials are in contact with the midfielder’s agent to understand how contract negotiations with the Birmingham-based club are progressing. Negotiations between Villa and the 25-year-old are ongoing.
Whilst Kamara is yet to decide on whether to sign a new contract at Villa Park, the midfielder desires to stay in the Premier League. If the defensive midfielder does not sign a new deal, he could potentially be eyeing up a move to a divisional rival. L’Équipe previously reported that the “big 4” clubs in the Premier League were interested in his services.
The midfielder has made 23 appearances in the English Premier League for Aston Villa.
