Franco-Senegalese midfielder Andy Diouf has preference to join Premier League outfit Crystal Palace over Burnley in the summer transfer window.
Diouf, who plies his trade for French outfit RC Lens has emerged as a top transfer target for several clubs including the Eagles and Burnley following an outstanding performance last term.
Despite Burnley reaching an agreement with Lens for the transfer of Diouf, the 22-year-old midfielder favours a move to Crystal Palace, who has been a long-term target for the club.
Burnley, who recently secured promotion back to the Premier League is believed to have agreed a transfer fee worth €18m, but the talented midfielder prefers Palace move.
Diouf is likely to depart Lens this summer, having attracted a significant interest from the Premier League, with Burnley and Palace jostling for his signature.
Crystal Palace is seemingly the player’s priority, however, the club have yet to reach an agreement with Lens or the player. The France U21 international’s current deal with Lens runs until the summer of 2028.
