Franco-Ivorian teenage sensation Désiré Doué has been adjudged as the UEFA Champions League Player of the Season following an outstanding display.
The 19-year-old played an instrumental role in the recently concluded Champions League campaign, helping Paris Saint Germain to annex their first title in the UEFA elite competition.
Doué was unplayable on Saturday when his outfit made light work of Inter Milan to secure the tittle at the Allianz Arena. He contributed three goals, scoring two and assisting one as the side cruised to historic 5-0 win over the Italian giants.
The talented forward emerged as the Player of the Match following an explosive performance throughout the game.
His outstanding performance did not go unnoticed, earning him the Champions League Young Player of the Season award.
Doué made 16 appearances in the Champions League this season, scoring five goals and assisting four goals in the process. In all competitions, the highly-profiled youngster made 54 appearances, scoring 15 goals and delivering 16 assists
