Franco-Cameroonian star Kylian Mbappe reaches 400 career goals

France international of Cameroonian descent Kylian Mbappe has racked up an incredible milestone of his career after netting a brace for the Les Blues in their 2026 World Cup qualifiers on Thursday.

Mbappe, who plies his trade for Real Madrid scored twice as his outfit cruised to a resounding 4-0 victory over Ukraine, propelling the European giants to secure qualification to the global showpiece, to be held in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

At age 26, the pacey attacker has reached a significant milestone of 400 career goals for club and country. Mbappe has scored for three different clubs alongside the French national team.

The rampant rapidity attacker also became the first French national team player in 34 years to score in six consecutive matches. The last to achieve a similar feat was Jean-Pierre Papin, who netted in seven straight games back in 1991.

During his spell with Monaco, the forward racked up 27 goals in 60 appearances before switching to join Paris Saint Germain, where he scored 256 goals in 308 matches.

Since joining Real Madrid last summer, Mbappe has netted 62 goals in 75 appearances. Meanwhile the striker has 55 goals in 95 appearances for the France national team.

This season, Mbappe has been in a rich vein of form for club and country, racking up 23 goals in 20 appearances.
