France international of Angolan descent Eduardo Camavinga is set to miss the rest of the season following latest injury to the midfielder.
Camavinga was in action when Real Madrid secured a narrow win over Getafe in the Spanihs La Liga clash on Wednesday night.
Turkish youngster Arda Guler’s solo goal was enough for the giants to secure a crucial away win over Getafe.
Unfortunately, Camavinga had to be subbed off after the first half after picking up an injury setback. It appears the enterprising midfielder suffered a complete tear of the tendon in his left adductor muscle and is facing time on the sidelines.
The club is now awaiting further developments. However, it seems that the season is over for the French midfielder.
This means Camavinga will not be available when Real Madrid takes on Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final on Saturday.
David Alaba also sustained an injury in this match, and his participation in the upcoming clash against Barcelona remains in question.
The encounter with the Catalans will take place on Saturday, April 26, in the Spanish Cup final in Seville. Kick-off is at 22:00 Central European Time.
