The ongoing relationship between Youssouf Hadji and AS Nancy Lorraine seems to have more chapters left. The club’s leadership is currently in talks to bring back the Moroccan midfielder, as revealed by Jacques Rousselot, the president of Nancy, on Monday.
“I’m meeting with him this week, and if we can reach a financial agreement, he’s a true product of our club. He’s more than just a player; he’s a leader in the locker room, a big brother figure, someone who is respected and embodies all the values of ASNL,” said Rousselot.
Hadji has previously played for Nancy twice, from 1998 to 2003 and again from 2007 to 2011, scoring a total of 57 goals in 255 matches. He has been a free agent since departing from Elazigspor in Turkey last February.
