France forward of Cameroonian descent, Hugo Ekitike is reportedly open to signing for Manchester United.

As reported by Africasoccer last week, the English Premier League club is keen on bringing in reinforcements in the summer transfer window.

Hugo Ekitike, 22, is one of the many players targeted by Manchester United. The forward has been a sensation for Eintracht Frankfurt in the German Bundesliga this season.

So far, he has scored 19 goals for the club in all competitions and could even score more.

Besides Manchester United, Hugo Ekitike is a transfer target of several European clubs. He is expected to leave Frankfurt in the transfer window but the German club will only allow his transfer for the right price.

His future will become clear at the end of the ongoing football season.

Although Hugo Ekitike is eligible to play for Cameroon at the senior national team level, he is currently a member of the France U21 national team.

Last Friday, he netted a sensational hat-trick for the team in the 5-3 win against the England U21 team.
