France international of Malian descent Ibrahima Konaté is flattered amid Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain links.
Konaté, who has been in a rich vein of form has emerge as a top transfer target for several big clubs in Europe.
Earlier reports suggested Real Madrid and PSG have all shown interest in the enterprising centre-back as they seeks to secure his services in the upcoming transfer window.
Additionally, Paris Saint-Germain were said to have made Konaté a priority target for summer.
Konaté’s contract with the Reds currently runs until the summer of 2026, and with 18 months left to go, the Premier League side are making efforts to tie down the defender in Merseyside for longer.
“To hear big clubs like that are showing interest in me is very flattering,” said Konaté in the same interview which aired this Sunday morning. “Now I’m focusing on this season, giving it my all and I’ll let my agents take care of the rest” he said.
The 25-year-old has been outstanding for Liverpool in the ongoing campaign, scoring two goals and providing two assists from 27 appearances across competitions.
