President of the Moroccan Football Federation, Fouzi Lekjaa, visited the Wydad Casablanca delegation at the Mohammed VI Complex as the team prepares for the upcoming 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The Moroccan powerhouse is preparing to participate in the Club World Cup in the United States later this month.
Wydad will come up against Manchester City, Juventus, and Al Ain of the UAE in Group G.
Lekjaa has placed the Mohammed VI Complex at Wydad’s disposal to ensure ideal preparatory conditions, utilising its state-of-the-art sports facilities and equipment.
He has promised to provide additional rewards and support if Wydad achieves positive results in the World Cup.
The Football Association has traditionally supported Moroccan clubs with financial rewards for achieving international success.
It’s worth noting that Wydad will begin their World Cup campaign against Manchester City, then Juventus, before concluding the group stage against Al Ain.
