Four French Ligue 1 clubs chasing DR Congo star Afimico Pululu

DR Congo international Afimico Pululu has emerged as a top transfer target for four French Ligue 1 outfit in the ongoing transfer window.

The 26-year-old endured an amazing performance in the recently concluded campaign, scoring 21 goals and providing four assists in 53 appearances.

Pululu emerged as the topscorer in the UEFA Conference League, scoring eight goals and providing an assist in 12 matches.

His outstanding performance did not go unnoticed, with Paris FC, Metz, AJ Auxerre, and FC Lorient expressing huge interest in the attacker.

Aside Auxerre, the remaining three clubs, who secured promotion to the French Ligue are determined to bolster their squad with the signing of Pululu.

Paris FC, in particular, are looking to pull off an ambitious window as they seek to make a meaningful impact in the upcoming campaign.

However, whilst most French clubs are struggling financially, Pululu will not come expensive, despite his exploits in Europe, he is available for a fee between €3-4m.
