Esam Marai, former star of Zamalek Club, directed special messages to Salem Al Shamsi, the owner of Pyramids Club, following the first football team’s loss against Mazembe with a clean three goals in the African Champions League.
Marai said in statements on the first channel: “People deceived us at Pyramids Club.
I see that some individuals have taken control of Pyramids, closed themselves off, and taken a path far removed from the football system.
We waited to see something new, but there is nothing new.”
He added: “All thanks to Salem Al Shamsi, the owner of Pyramids Club, as he does not spare anything for the club.
However, there must be a change in the club’s management structure.
I feel that there is no enthusiasm among the players or any system of rewards and punishments.”
“The story is not about signing a player for 100 million pounds while the team does not win any championships and lacks any form, personality, or consistent level.
There is no vision or planning for Pyramids Club,” he continued.
“There must be a change in Pyramids’ strategy, a pause after the loss, an evaluation for everyone, and strict decisions must be made to be a turning point for the club,” he concluded.
