Former Orlando Pirates defender Thabiso Monyane is set to join Kaizer Chiefs in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old ended his spell with Pirates following the expiration of his contract in the recently concluded campaign.
Monyane is embarking on a new journey of his career, leaving the club where he was raised from the development structures, towards a new challenge at their Soweto rivals.
According to reports, a deal has been reached between Monyane and Kaizer Chiefs for summer acquisition.
He will become second player to join Kaizer Chiefs with a previous association with Orlando Pirates, after Paseka Mako.
Kaizer Chiefs are seeking to bolster their squad for the new campaign following an inconsistent performance in the just ended season.
Despite winning the Cup title, Kaizer Chiefs fell short in the South African Premier League, finishing out of the top eight.
