Former Ivory Coast defender Arthur Boka snubs Cristiano Ronaldo, rates Messi as the best

Former Ivory Coast international Arthur Boka has sparked a huge storm by rating Lionel Messi ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The debate about the two most decorated players continues unabated with Messi winning the Ballon d’Or eight times while Ronaldo has five.

Aside individual honours, the two pair has chalked numerous success at club and international levels respectively.

However, the former Strasbourg and Stuttgart left-back has joined the raging debate as to who is the best player in the world with some tipping Messi while other opt for Ronaldo.

“Lionel Messi is a magician because his talent is natural, and he is better than his rival Cristiano Ronaldo.” He told Koora in an interview.

Both players are still playing active football with Messi plying his trade with Inter Miami in the MLS while Ronaldo plays for Al Nasr in the Saudi Pro League.
